英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作中的成對(duì)詞

　　成對(duì)詞即把兩個(gè)相關(guān)的詞或同一個(gè)詞用and或or連接起來(lái)的詞組。它們常出現(xiàn)在口語(yǔ)或非正式書(shū)面語(yǔ)中，是人們?cè)陂L(zhǎng)期的語(yǔ)言交際中約定俗成的?？聪旅娴膶?shí)例：

　　1. We should serve the people heart and soul. 　　我們應(yīng)該全心全意地為人民服務(wù)。　　

　　2. The missing child came back safe and sound. 　　那個(gè)失蹤地孩子安然無(wú)恙地回來(lái)了。　　

　　3. They quarreled last night and this morning she left, bag and baggage. 　　昨夜他們吵架了，今天早晨她收拾起自己的東西就走了?！　?br>
　　4. After the fight, he was black and blue all over. 　　搏斗結(jié)束后，他遍體鱗傷?！　?br>
　　5. It is no wonder that counselors of battered women are inclined to advise a black-and- blue wife for divorce. 　　怪不得被打婦女的律師們一般都勸告被打得鼻青臉腫的妻子離婚?！　?br>
　　6. The man threatened to beat the boy black and blue for stealing. 　　那人恐嚇要把偷東西得孩子打得遍體鱗傷。

　　7. She black-and-blued my legs so badly, I told her I’d go tell the police. 　　她把我得腿打得青一塊紫一塊，我對(duì)她說(shuō)我要去報(bào)警。
